I work with one brand which aggressively conducts a major trade show, a one-day seminar, and a breakfast event in six fast-paced days. At the breakfast event the Group Publisher does a presentation on B2B marketing to current and potential advertising clients. The breakfast is both informative and casual. The publisher’s presentation needs to convey that he is a topic expert and an approachable executive.

In 2017 four marketers from the Nashua division of Endeavor Business Media (formerly known as PennWell) worked jointly to create a presentation for this event. The publisher liked the style of the presentation and used it in 2017. The following year the publisher wanted to focus on a new topic: Effective Marketing Messages. He and I utilized the existing design as a launching point for the 2018 presentation. I worked directly with the publisher to refine the verbiage and create a new slide deck that was in a similar creative style.
